Sick Bunny

Senna had her first high fever this week, and it turns out she has the common baby illness, Roseola. Scary high fever for a few days, no appetite, won't let me/us put her down (literally, not at all, sore arms here to prove it!), tummy upset, then the fever goes away and she has a rash all over her body. It doesn't hurt or itch, just looks really bad. She was a sad, sick little Bunny there for a couple days.

She was still really fussy today and not much appetite, but by tonight she ate a little, smiled again, and for the first time allowed me to lay her in her crib to sleep -- at least for now (yippee, my arms need a break!). I think we're on the mend. Whew. Alex and are wiped out, but glad she's OK. We knew she would be; she's been strong since she was a little peanut in my belly! And her body did it's job -- atta girl.
