Kal's First Thunderstorm!

Such a gift, to see Kal experience his first thunderstorm today! At first, his eyes grew wide, he shuddered, and ran to me. He looked at me. I laughed and said, "Thunderstorm!!" He laughed, and said, "Again!!"

The rest of the day, as the thunder, lightening and rain came and went, he said "Outisde BOOM!" (which sounds like "ow-sigh-boo!") and "cars BEEP!" when the car alarms went off.

The kids got in their boots and wet suits (of course) and enjoyed this rare weather for San Diego. And I enjoyed them enjoying it. A great day.
