Fall Already?

Wow, where has the time gone?! Not blogging much these days. But, the kids still have plenty of blog-worthy stuff going on.

They are full of fun these days.

Kal is stringing words together: mama necklace, daddy bed, kal-kal balloon. He still wants anything and everything Sen may have. He still loves physical activity: climbing, flipping, dancing. He loves trains, trucks, especially fire trucks. The other day he said "mail truck" when one drove by. Alex calls him "a mellow dude with an attitude." That about says it. Easygoing, quick to smile, but can sure dig his feet in and say "no!"!

Sen just started preschool -- and is loving it! Comes home sounding out words, singing songs, spouting the months of the year. Her home life is very much about doing "shows" -- in the mirror or the living room. She loves musicals -- current faves are Annie, Lion King and Sound of Music. She is becoming "of the world" and has some hilarious things to say about it. If only I could think of any right now.... I'll get back to that.

Here are the kids as they dressed themselves for their nightly post-dinner walk around the neighborhood -- face paint, knit hats, and wet suits. Please note, this is on a warm night late summer! As I said, full of fun...
