Firehouse Fun!
This week, we had a field trip to the local fire house with Sen's preschool co-op. Lucky for us, PaDa was in town that day, so he came along and took photos.

Sen listened very intently, was a bit freaked by the full gear but kept her cool, and was the one kid who knew what number to call in an emergency ("911!!") -- although had no idea what to do if she came across some matches (oops!).

Ms. Senna at four: loves her co-op preschool (Monday mornings) and her drawing class (Friday afternoons). Is starting to really enjoy playing with friends. Loves going to UU on Sundays. Still loves any kind of craft, pretend play, and reading.
Her latest obsession is Charlotte's Web, the first chapter book I read aloud to her recently. She wants to be Charlotte all day long, or else is drawing scenes from the book (this is eerily familiar!). Talks about being on stage (saw her first theatrical production, Alice in Wonderland, recently, and also acts that out frequently -- I swear, I'm not pushing any of this!!).
QB is her baby, who goes with her everywhere (usually in her shirt, like I wear Kal on my front) and sleeps with her at night. And she is sleeping great now (haaaaa-lelujah!!) in her room, which she'll share with Kal soon, but we're enjoying at least one child sleeping for the time being.
Still, and always, Sen has a mind of her own and a spirit that fills a room. She never fails to keep us on our toes, and thinks of things beyond our imaginations!
