Good One

Yesterday, on a walk around the neighborhood with Senna:

Sen: Mommy, I hear a dog. (She is currently terrified of dogs, so this comes with a tad of drama.)

Me: Hmm, I don't hear it. (Really, I didn't.)

Sen: I hear it. I hear a dog.

Me: Sweetie. I really don't hear one, not nearby at least.

Me: Well, Mommy, my ears are just more talented than yours!
