Cooking, Owl and Word of the Week
Senna's new favorite game is pretend cooking. We use two empty bowls and she runs back and forth across the room bringing me imaginary water, and telling me which vegetables to put into our "soup." Then we all have tastes. Then we do it "again" (and again and again...).
She is also thoroughly enamored with retelling the story that she and I heard an owl in the backyard a couple weeks ago, and she cannot stop bringing it up. "Owl, back-yard-ee, hooo hooo..." She told the story on the phone to Grandma, and now wants to keep calling her to tell the story again. "Owl, backyard-ee, hoo hooo, Mommy Nenna..."
And, now, my new favorite Senna word, and this week's word of the week: Mack-a-doo-ah (Hint: It moves and makes a lot of noise.)
Hugs and kisses....

My guess is vaccume. By the way I love the photos at Alex's award ceremony!
I'll go with vacuum too, especially having seen the eyeglass-case-on-a-stick model she uses. :)
