End-of-Summer Fun

Alex is back to school next week, so summer's end is upon us. It was a summer of, on the challenging side, exhaustion, home improvements, food allergies, and teething, and on the bright side, fun family and friend visits, beach outings, quiet times at home, and many hugs and kisses. We were realizing today how much Senna has grown this summer, in so many ways.

Since her first day in the water a couple weeks ago, Senna has been non-stop! In the ocean, in the pool, she loves to get wet! Here she is in her "wetsuit" and with her favorite swim buddy, Daddy.




She has also gotten into trains this summer, loves to see them go by in our village or cross the train tracks on the way to the beach. Here she is playing with her toy train, which used to be mine (and Buddha in the background, of course) and pretending her tower IS a train!
