Overheard

Senna is talking a mile a minute, and comes up with some doozies these days! A few examples:

- Playing with her stuffed animals and wooden veggies from her toy kitchen, she starts to sing: "A carrot in your nose, a carrot in your nose, high ho the dairy-oh, a carrot in your nose!"

- Daddy comes home from surfing and starts hosing out his wet suit on the patio. Sen looks at Mommy and says: "He's gotta wash out that bad boy."

- At dinner, Senna says something we can't understand, like "Ayshen mava." We keep asking her questions and urging her to tell us more. She gets frustrated, sighs, and says, "You paint with it! Daddy paint with it!!" Then I realized she was saying "ancient marble," the name of the color we bought for Alex to paint our bathroom with!

- When one of us is leaving now, Senna calls out, "Have tons of fun!"

- Constantly: "I just want to do it MYSELF!"
