Senna at 20 Months

At 20 months, Senna is really becoming a big girl, and her personality is shining through. We have full conversations now; she reminds us about things that happened or what we need at the store; she requests stories and songs and can repeat them verbatim.

Here are a few notables on Senna at this age:

1. She loves to take care of others! She is constantly feeding us, her animals, her buddhas, and her buddy Willem. She changes her sleep buddies' diapers and gives them sips of water. It really is adorable.



2. She still has that belly laugh! Her smile and laugh are infectious; she lights up a room. And her sense of humor is astute; she seems to "get" jokes, and simply get joy out of life. Of course, she still loves her buddhas.



3. She is growing up fast! She wants to sit in the big chair at the big chair, goes up and down the steps on her own, sleeps (at least part of the night) in her big girl bed (a mattress on the floor of her room). She is finally growing out of her clothes (she wore the same size from 7 months to 18 months!) -- she has a healthy appetite (in all senses) and is sprouting up and moving into 2Ts (on top) and 18 month size (on bottom!).



We're actually around the corner from 21 months already. Time is really flying!! We're just trying to soak in each moment.
