New Buddha
I bought a Buddha garden statue, since Senna has been so into these lately (thanks, at first, to a catalog I received of Buddha statues that she attached herself to, and then she began to see Buddhas everywhere).
However, when I tried to take her inside and away from the new Buddha in the garden out front, she had a raging tantrum, and I mean raging. So raging that I realized the best mommy move was to bring the Buddha inside. Brilliant!
When we moved "New Buddha" (as Senna calls him) inside, she immediately brought her "Button Doll" into the family room to sit with him, and began reading to them both.

She especially loves to snuggle herself in the corner next to New Buddha and hang out. Don't they look so natural together? Maybe she's tapping into her ancestors.

If New Buddha can elicit this laugh, the best sight and sound in the world, then New Buddha can live inside instead of in the garden forever, no problem.
