In Her Own Words
Here are a couple funny conversations I've had with Senna the past couple of weeks, during which we've been spending a lot of time at home, at her request (as in, "I don't want to go out, Mom, I just want to hang out at home with you." Well, OK then!).
On Rashes (which we have frequently in our allergic family!):
Sen: Mommy, did the rash on your arm go away?
MPK: Yes, it's pretty much gone.
Sen: Where do rashes go?
MPK: Where do you think they go?
Sen: Hmmm... I think... to rash land! Or to the rash museum!
On Babies:
Sen: Babies don't do anything!
MPK: Not too much. They cry, and sleep, and drink mama milk, and fill their diapers.
Sen: I will help change my little brother's diaper.*
MPK: You will? That's very nice of you.
Sen: And I'll tell him poop stories like Daddy tells me!
When I remember more, I'll post them. Hugs to all!
* Yes, everyone, it's a boy in there!
